...celebrating        years!

Thank you for letting us in on your role as parent, and for emulating what love, respect and fatherhood can and should be.

Being the first African American of any large organization brings greater demands and expectations, many of which are not easily attainable. You met the challenge, exceeded our expectations, showed the world that "Yes, We Can", and leave us wanting more. Thank you for leading our country with style, grace and swag. You have surely made us—and our ancestors—proud. This may be the end of your presidency, but we know it’s not the end of your impact on the world. We look forward to seeing—and being a part of whatever you do next.

Thank you for sharing your family with us. Thank you for letting us in on your marriage to Michelle.

Thank you for showing us—men, women and children—what respect, and love, and marriage looks like.

President Obama,

We met you on the presidential campaign trail where you spoke of change and hope and action. You said, "we" were the change we were seeking . You said, "Yes We Can", and we believed you. And we took action. We campaigned with and for you. We voted with and for you. And we waited with you too. And you won...we won. Not just the nomination for presidency, but the election. And you were inaugurated—not just once, but twice.
